Mia takes her turn at carrying the cross on Good Friday.
‘The Way of the Cross, for Children’, an adaptation of the Stations of the Cross was led by Amanda Turner and Emma Richards and attended by dozen of children and their families.
This has become a tradition on Good Friday and is very moving for everyone that attends. The children learn to appreciate the Gospel and look forward to returning on Easter Sunday when their cross is transformed as they decorate it with dozens of multi-coloured flowers. They carried it back into church and placed it in a prominent position for everyone to admire.
