Using a ‘river of light’ liturgy to ‘bury the darkness’ staff and children were led by Fr. Philip on Ash Wednesday in a prayerful liturgy. They prayed that light will shine in places of darkness. The children who are currently preparing to receive First Holy Communion carried candles into the school hall which shone in the river.
They were reminded that Jesus said ;
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” — John 8
