Members of the Union of Catholic Mothers held their latest meeting in the Holy Family church hall in Budleigh Salterton in order to plant up the wooden trough planter donated by the Foundation.
Following the business meeting planting up was delayed by heavy rain. During a brief lull in the downpour several hardy members with trowel in hand braved the inclement weather and the result was a delightful mixture of flowering shrubs and plants.

Birthday cake was also on the agenda for the afternoon as Mary T. had baked 2 delicious sponge cakes to celebrate her birthday.
