A great effort was made by all to provide a variety of delicious cakes, biscuits and sweets to raise funds for ‘Chicks’ the Parish chosen charity for this special day.
Contributions to the sale varied from some lovely knitted chicks with a surprise crème egg filling to home-made sponges and slices of various flavours to delicious Easter biscuits and creamy fudge.
There was something for everyone!
Tricky decisions had to be made over sliced or individual cake options.
All enjoyed the coffee and friendly discussion.
Bernadette showed that the urns aren’t so difficult to handle if you have the know-how.
The happy faces reflected how we have missed our regular get togethers while the hall has been unavailable.
All there were really pleased to support the charity and were delighted to raise the sum of £112.50.
Any cakes, etc., that remained unsold at the end of the coffee morning were transferred to Holy Ghost church hall to augment their contribution and add to the final figure raised by the parish as a whole.
