Excited children from St. Joseph’s school made their way to church last week with boxes of harvest produce, the Mayor of Budleigh Salterton, The Deputy Mayor of Exmouth, the Town Crier and 88 scarecrows!
Why??? The scarecrows were to set the scene for the Harvest Festival at Holy Ghost, a wonderful occasion for the whole parish community on Sunday 28th October. They took their places around the grounds which were set up to take stalls, games and a BBQ enjoyed by approximately 200 parishioners.
