An Advent Day of Reflection and extended residential retreat at Buckfast………
A group of about 41 parishioners joined Father Philip at Buckfast Abbey Conference centre for a day of retreat for Advent. Most of us were from Holy Family Parish but we also welcomed people from across the Diocese who shared the day of reflection and prayer with us. The theme “ By whose Authority?” encouraged us to share our faith.
Twelve of us stayed on for 2 more days to explore this further. It was a time of sharing food, faith, thought provoking sessions, and prayer in the beautiful and peaceful setting of Buckfast.
