The parish lunch was a huge success. It was lovely to be able to share a meal together after mass. The team served an incredible 84 meals to the widest cross section of parishioners, ranging from 4 – 94 years! Thank you to those who prepared the lunch, all the helpers, those of you that came and all those who donated to the fund raising appeal. I am particularly grateful to Wendy Davis who arranged for Barclays Bank to match our fund raising and to Michael Norman who donated his beautiful painting for the silent auction…..(I can share a secret with you now……. there will be another chance to eat together on Sunday 25th January, so save the date in your new diaries!)
