What a night we had! A gathering of the Sisters!

There have never been so many nuns, curates, and former pupils all together at one of our fundraisers. A delicious meal of ‘unCONVENTional’ food was enjoyed by all, together with the odd glass of ‘Blue Nun’. Former Convent School Girls tried to outdo parents and former pupils of St. Joseph’s School in friendly but very competitive rivalry in a riotous singing competition!  Nun Ten Pin Bowling proved to be very popular, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The guests of honour were of course our very own Holy Family Sisters and two of our oldest parishioners, Tony and Margaret Wall. Everyone enjoyed the nostalgia and our guests were waited on as usual by our ‘A’ Team of young people, dressed as nuns of course who were kept in check by the ‘new curate’ Luke. Thanks to so many for coming, those who organised and helped, and to those who supported in other ways. We look forward to the next fundraiser ‘Fish on Friday, not Michael? ‘ Watch the bulletin for details!
