Try Felt Making For Beginners! Come along to the Holy Ghost church hall from Tuesday 28th September and learn the ancient art of felt making. Over 6 weeks learn to work with felt, turning fleece into fabric and making pictures, flowers, bags and more in a warm and friendly class.

From choosing paper and mark making to creating a finished picture, this 6 week course aims to give you the tools you need to begin drawing. Using charcoal, pencil and ink to create different effects, we will explore different approaches and get you started on your own artistic journey. Don’t worry if you haven’t picked up a pencil since your school days, I will show you where to begin!

Woodbury 10K Fun Run Sunday 19 September. The run is in aid of the Christian Aid partnership raising money for Zimbabwe.

Following the State visit to the UK of Pope Benedict in September, we will be holding a ‘Parish Day of Renewal’ on Saturday 25 September. The day will start when we gather for a Mass of Celebration at 10.00 am.

It was Lorraine’s idea – a parish fund-raising occasion with a difference, with absolutely no apologies given to another, rather more prosaic gathering, held somewhere or other earlier in the year.

The Parish held its Summer Fete this year in the idyllic grounds of St Peter's School Lympstone.  We were blessed with glorious weather for the event and many took advantage of this by taking a dip in the swimming pool to cool off.
