On Tuesday 29th June 2010 some 16 people enjoyed a delicious Cream Tea in the Parish Hall hosted by the Bereavement Care Team. There was plenty of time to sit and share experiences together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The young people in the parish are as active as ever: a good number took part in the Diocesan Youth Rally at Honiton; we had 4 going off to Summer Camp at Buckfast; around 10 young people from this parish are interested in going to Madrid to take part in World Youth Day; half a dozen of them helped out at the Barn Dance at St Nicholas School ...

Slightly later than usual because of family commitments and holidays, here are our reports for the Book Club meetings in April, May and June.

"I felt like I had climbed Mount Everest when we first turned the taps on.  We had done great work.  It was like a dark day which became full of light."

Choir 97 is inspired by Musical Director, Marion Room, and they regularly raise money for a variety of charities. The concert for World Youth Day was marvellous, with a wide selection of music
